FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wedding worth attending?  When do I have to decide by?
Yes! Think of this as an opportunity to praise the social institution which serves as the foundation of Western Civilization: monogamous marriage solidified in a legally-binding contract. Or you can just come for the food, drinks, & dancing.

Kindly respond on our RSVP page by August 15, 2018.

Will there be transportation provided?  Can I drive?
Yes, and yes.  On Saturday there will be optional transportation provided from the Beekman Arms Inn in Rhinebeck to the ceremony & reception venue at Oz Farm in Saugerties (details available on the Weekend Events page.)

If you’re driving or carpooling, there will be ample parking at the farm too.  You can also leave your car there overnight.  Drive safe!

There are local cabs, Uber, and Lyft options as well.

What should I wear?
We’d suggest “dressy casual” or “semi-formal,” and activities will include light strolling on some unpaved terrain, shmoozing on a grass lawn, and dancing the night away.  You can plan your footwear accordingly, but far be it from us to tell you what to wear!

Will there be Vegetarian food options?
The meal will be served “family style,” and we hope to provide a variety of options on the table, including vegetarian, lacto-ovo vegetarian, & carnivorous.  Please let us know if you have specific dietary restrictions under the comments space when you RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one?
If they are on your invitation–yes! If you have a steady someone that we missed or don’t know about, please let us know.
